Concept of God in Islam

Its author said in the introduction, "It is a known fact that every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to God and sometimes to lesser deities. This is not the case with Allah. Allah is the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word "god," which can be made plural, as in "gods," or made feminine, as in "goddess." It is interesting to notice that Allah is the personal name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic."

I welcome you to our ‘Like A Garment’ e-book, an initiative that seeks to educate Muslims to find conjugal bliss in their marriages. This is a very useful book contains important information despite its few pages. It shows how to perform the second pillar of Islam i.e. prayer. At first, the author some words from book "The Dispraise of Desire" authored by Ibn Al-Qayyem. Then he talks about some issues pertaining to prayer e.g. meaning of prayer, its merits, its times and conditions should be met before performing it. It is characterized by containing audio sections showing what is said during the prayer.
